Os hablo un poco del termino Kustom Kuture,para quien no este familiarizado,ya que yo suelo utilizarlo bastante,es algo con lo que me identifico bastante.El texto lo he sacado del Wikipedia,soy algo perruno y asi tampoco os lio mucho,aunque algo he hecho,ya que no he encontrado el texto en castellano y he utilizado el traductor del Wiki,como es logico he tenido que dar algunos retoques para que se pueda entender.
"Kustom Kulture" es un neologismo americano utilizado para describir la obra, los vehículos, los peinados,la moda a lo que condujo, los custom cars y motocicletas
en los Estados Unidos a partir de la década de 1950 hasta hoy.
En los primeros días del hot rodding, muchas modas y estilos se desarrollaron. Con el tiempo, cada uno de estos estilos diferentes de personalización,han reconfigurado nuestra vida cotidiana.Artistas tales como Von Dutch (Kenny Howard), constructores de automóviles personalizados, como Ed "Big Daddy" Roth y Dean Jeffries, HOT ROD y Lowrider personalizadores como el Hermanos Barris (Sam y George Barris), junto con numerosos tatuadores, pintores de automóviles , Y las películas,programas de televisión como American Graffiti, Happy Days, Los Munsters(La Koach Munster, Drag-u-la) y The Monkees (La Monkeemobile) han contribuido a formar lo que se conoce como Kustom Kulture.
Kustom Kulture es generalmente identificado con el greasers de la década de 1950, el drag racers de la década de 1960, y la Lowriders de la década de 1970.Otros subculturas que han tenido una influencia en la Kustom Kulture,son los cabezas rapadas, mods y rockers de la década de 1960, el punk,rockeros de la década de 1970, el metal y rockabilly, junto con la scooterboys de la década de 1980, y psychobilly de la década de 1990. Cada cultura tiene sus propias personalizaciones a los coches, sus propias modas, influyo en la música, y añadió sus propias ideas de lo que es cool, de lo que es aceptable y qué no lo es.
El pinstriped,las chopper,los bobber,las Harley-Davidson,las Triumph, junto con la música, dibujos animados, películas de monstruos,han tenido un impacto sobre lo que define a cualquier persona y cualquier cosa que es parte de este subcultura de automóviles.
En el decenio de 1990 y 2000,Kustom Kulture había tomado en un renacimiento de América subculturas de los 50's y 60's con varias actividades. Cada estilo es diferente y tiene sus raíces en la historia de América del automóvil y de la motocicleta.Muchos estilos que no habría tolerado mutuamente en el pasado ahora se reunen en gran muestra de automóviles y motocicletas
El renacimiento del Kustom Kulture ha visto el uso del término "Kustom Gráficos" para describir el estilo de obras de arte asociado con la subcultura cuando se aplica a los carteles, volantes, camisetas y logotipos.
